Holiday Spiced Creamsicle – An Immune Boosting Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 frozen medium sized persimmon
- 2 small peeled tangerines
- 1 TBsp cinnamon
- 1 TBsp dried tumeric
- Small knob (about a 1/2 inch) of fresh ginger
- 1 1/2 cups almond, cashew, or coconut milk
- Organic vanilla whey or plant protein powder* (optional)
- Add all ingredients to blender except non-dairy milk. Once dry ingredients are inside blender add non-dairy milk.
- Mix on high for 1-2 minutes or until smooth.
- Serve in your favorite smoothie cup or jar.
*If you just worked out or want added protein make sure to add a scoop of your favorite organic, grass-fed (if whey), non-GMO vanilla protein powder.
