There truly isn’t a better feeling in the world than giving back. I am so thankful that from an early age my parents told me that. Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to work with different organizations and charities, and these experiences have changed my life.
My main focus has always been based around water. Everything from giving someone clean water to drink for the very first time, to helping keep the oceans, lakes and rivers clean. The awesome part about giving back is that you can choose whatever you are passionate about. Water, food, families in need, cancer, animals, the list goes on and on.
That being said, I am so thankful to share with you what I am passionate about; giving people clean water. Myself along with other professional surfers are partnering with Hurley and Waves For Water to bring clean water to as many people possible. If you feel like this is something that you might have passion about as well, then please have a look at Waves For Water below and what they are all about. Together we can change lives and put smiles on peoples faces! I am so thankful to be where I am today and able to help in any way I can, so please join me in helping others – it’s worth it!

To get clean water to every single person who needs it.
People living in impoverished areas die every day from drinking dirty water. While having access to clean water is a luxury that many of us take for granted, there are millions living in nations with no filtration systems in place.Kids drink from the same streams where animals bathe. In addition, there’s no clean water available for surgery if someone is injured, putting the wounded at risk of deathly infections. Waves 4 Water has teamed up with surf company Hurley International to develop a DIY volunteer program called Clean Water Couriers, in which surfers in searching for waves in third-world countries carry filters with them in their luggage.
