Rising above the bumps & ready for the 2017 season!

Thanksgiving is by far one of my favorite holidays to celebrate and it also happens to be in my favorite time of year. The Fall is such a magical time for me. I get to be in Hawaii for the WCT Maui comp then back home in California with my family. The waves are fun, the air is crisp and the coffee taste that much better ;), so needless to say this is a time of year that I am a little extra thankful for. In the spirit of thanksgiving, and this amazing life, I thought I would share with you my 3 top things I am thankful for and ask you in return to tell someone else 3 things you are thankful for.
So here you have it;
1. My family. I honestly don’t know what I would do without my family and I am beyond thankful to have them by my side and supporting me.
2. My health. Health is something that we all can take for granted sometimes. I try and remind myself every single day how blessed I am to have my health. So very thankful for this.
3. Surfing. Surfing is my saving grace. I am so lucky to be able to call it my job as well as my favorite thing to do. I know if I am having a tough day or have things on my mind I can always go surfing and it is the best medicine. I do it every single day and I won’t stop until I drop.
Thank you so much for your support since I started The Salty Coconut in August. It’s been a vision for a while and one I am really passionate about. Thanks for reading my blog, sharing my posts and recipes and also for all the emails and comments people have sent in support of the site – hope you have really enjoyed the journey so far!
Have the best turkey day wherever you might be. Be thankful and count your blessings.
